What is it about dissertation proposal that you do not understand? If you are now in the middle of thinking what research paper to write, then you have found a place where you can get all the support that you need in terms of writing a research project. As you will read along, this post will give you the most important things that relate to writing a dissertation proposal. Let us get started.

The dissertation paper involves the creation of a topic and then using your analytical skills to find some good things about it. In most cases, a research paper will tackle a topic to see if there are unknown details about it or to solve an existing question regarding the same subject. Therefore, before you can write a good paper, you simply need to follow an outline for writing. This outline is therefore called the proposal.

You are already familiar with an outline when you wrote your very first essay in high school. This means you are familiar with how the outline can save you time and energy in writing the actual paper. This is the same when it comes to research articles. The proposal will become your outline. However, it is also a good way to see whether your adviser approves your topic or not.

What are the basic parts of an outline for the thesis paper? The first part of the proposal is the introduction. This chapter includes the presentation of the idea that you wish to tackle in the research paper. The intro also gives the readers a background on what the topic is all about. You should provide them the reason why you have chosen the topic. Moreover, give them the thesis statement that you wish to use for the entire scope of the study.

The next part is the literature review. Actually, you are not yet going to include a review because you are still in the planning stage. What you can include here are the details of where you will be acquiring your data. You should use some reliable and credible documents that you think will be able to help you in the research process. You can use anything from books, articles or research papers.

The third part of the dissertation proposal is the methodology. This chapter includes an explanation on how you will go about the research process. It should contain at least two modes of discussions. The first is the methods on data acquisition while the second one is the analysis of the data. You should provide a clear explanation on how you will utilize data to perform the research.

One last thing about the dissertation proposal is the conclusion. This chapter should not be blank. What you can put in here is the detail on what your assumptions are. Since you have not started with your research yet, you can simply provide your guess or assumption on the research results.
